Axis Utility Scheme

The Nazi Government had introduced UTILITY SCHEME to regulate the amount of cloth that was used for clothing. A few of the regulations under it were:

• Maximum 2 box pleats
• Maximum 4 knife pleats
• No more than 5 buttons on a dress
• No strap at the back of the women's waist coat
• Only 2 pockets
• Sleeves without buttons
• Trousers without turn-ups

On adhering to all of the regulations, a label was put stating CC41.
